At least here the world is still okay!
Thanks Urmas for the information, it's interesting as ever and I have to admit, I would like to see you sneaking camouflaged through the woods
Also about the information about the number of eagles still around. In Germany, and especially the part where I live, we have no eagles, in the mountains (alps) maybe golden eagles, but I I know of no other eagles arund here. But they must have been here as well. I read that this particular kind of eagle is among the very endagered and this website
http://www.deutschewildtierstiftung.de/ ... hreiadler/
write about the efforts to save the last couple of them, also with saving the second chick
http://www.deutschewildtierstiftung.de/ ... el-retten/ The website is in German, I'm sorry.

May 5

Good morning! :hi: The lovely Tuuli brooding her eggs. A cuckoo bird calls constantly in the forest.

There has been lots of distant calling. It got a little louder and then Tuuli (?) flew away for a couple minutes.

Eagle returned (but which eagle?)

rotating eggs and sitting on them

My cam stopped! I am a little confused. I think Remo brought some grasses -- As I said I was confused and Mutikluti thought Tuuli brought the grass -- which helps to explain my confusion.

Mutikluti

Thanks for catching that. I don't know what made me think -- and only after my cam and basically stopped that maybe Remo had been on the eggs.

Did Koit sit on the eggs?

2 eagles again on the nest

I think again maybe Remo had returned first and sat on the eggs because the second eagle seemed bigger and lighter

I am too exhausted (and coughing -- I will post something of what I saw tomorrow)

The eagle did stand up and look around under the nest. I thought maybe I heard steps, but also there were eagle calls.

Good morning all! Now it's Tuuli on the eggs, no doubt

And while busy posting this, Remo appeared and left again, couldn't see if he brought her something to eat.

Still not better? Wish you a speedy recovery!

Unfortunately I have no sound here, but whenever I looked, the nest and the bird on it (I think I saw only Tuuli so far), were quiet.

it is obvious, why they are called "screaming eagles" in Germany. They are calling all day :slap:
