Dad just brought a small snack--appeared to be a frog; not sure but Stephi jumped up immediately, took it and swallowed whole. Dad left and Tuuli and Stephi are conversing.

Just a VERY SLIGHT wheez can be heard. :D

Have a good night all and stay safe :offtobed:

I have almost the exact same capture from 7:38. Stephi's tail is cute and mum is doing her best, but for the rest it just looks wet.

(Very glad it is otherwise here, I will be hanging my clothes on the line -- to dry in the night and early morning.)

I have been hearing bird songs and Stephi peeked out, so maybe the rain is letting up.

i think this is a great video! thank you Manu!
(and even better if played on whole-screen; i had to watch it almost with my nose on the screen and double glasses on my nose  )
i think it would be useful if you posted on the Technical pages, too, on the same thread where Nancy has the written instructions.

the rain has stopped and Stephi is standing alone at home. she's preening a little, drying her feathers but mostly she looks dry. at least her "hair" is dry.
the breathing is squeaking and whistling a little...

the sun is trying to break through. :headroll:

i can't help giggling sometimes... some of the breathing noises sound like as if they were coming from the other end... like as if Stephi were releasing wind... :whistling:

she's chirping, too. i think she'd like to have a new snack of some sort.

Ame, I am pretty sure she is singing a little -- please give me some tasty bites to eat -- song.

She seems to talk to herself, out loud more than any other eagle I have seen.

Thanks, Felis :) I didn't realise anything was wrong because it looked normal with Flash blocker over the top of it. All better now ;)

Remo delivered what I thought was a good sized vole, but Stephi ate it faster than I could make the player go to full size, let alone wait for the words to disappear. :slap:

two food deliveries in a row, both by Remo i guess.
first at 12.07. i was too slow to capture anything of the prey but i guess it was something small because it vanished so quickly.

the second delivery at 12.13 wasn't big either, maybe a frog. or a vole? and like the first one it didn't see much daylight once it was in the nest. :D

I think perhaps there was another delivery. I saw nothing, but Remo visited.

And now it sounds like a terrible rain is starting.

The 12:07 delivery I saw, grey fur, white tummy -- but it was swallowed before I captured anything.

Another small delivery -- I did not even manage to push the right button. It was kind of long and skinny so, I think a small frog. Needless to say Stephi ate it quickly.

seriously my brain is failing

Good night Alice!

I also saw the three deliveries - Stephi is quite fast in swallowing. But now after the rain shower I hear the whistling noise again! :banghead:
