Great pictures and video of Tuuli Thank you Mutikluti and Bea ( what a pity that the bird who answered her didn't show up in the nest)

Good morning
I checked pontu pictures from this morning and Tuuli was at the nest from 06:21 to 07:19, at 07:20 the nest is empty.

Sorry, if this is a stupid question: are we REALLY sure, that this is Tuuli?

Probably not completely sure, but the colouring is very similar and it is "her" nest. Some of the eagles we watched last year in Latvia had quite different colouring.Amsel67 wrote:Sorry, if this is a stupid question: are we REALLY sure, that this is Tuuli?

It´s a pity that Tuuli and Remo have no rings to identify them .... but as there were LSEs breeding last year on this (originally stork-) nest I expect them to be the same birds as last year returning to "their" nest ...Amsel67 wrote:Sorry, if this is a stupid question: are we REALLY sure, that this is Tuuli?

Bea, thank you for pictures!

I'm sure it's Tuuli. We need Remo now.

I also think it is quite sure this is Tuuli. Still hope Remo will come!

Good morning!
Two eagles! Thank you for the pictures! I see that it's not Remo! Probably it's new Tuuli's mate?
9:30 Now only Tuuli in the nest.

Good morning
What good news - a second eagle at the nest
Well, the second one doesn´t look like Remo - his feathers were darker, hm?
However - I hope for a good breeding season for these both
