Re: Estonian LSE Nest Discussion 2012 ~ Tuuli & Remo
I think her breathing went right away worse in the rain.
If the weather is going to be similar like here in Helsinki, there are going to be "a few" rain showers next week. Does anyone in which city or area Stephi is located in Estonia? I understand that the exact location must be kept in secret.

I have a rough idea about what area, as it was written somewhere, either here or on the LK main page and I looked it up, both, this and Eha/Koit's nest are about the same area. Yes, did a quick check, here: http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/13183 Both are at Jõgeva county. That's north of Tartu.
Remo once again, but I could not see what, and if Stephi had it or is sitting on it.

hah! it was a big frog!
after working with it for some time Stephi finally swallowed it in one piece. i suppose she got tired in trying to cut it.
long version:
and here in the end of the shorter cut the frog goes down.
sorry: too short-cut first!

the wind is getting harder... and there was a shot-like bang...? i heard a bang in the morning, too, when Tuuli was still at home. she didn't react to it in any way then.

There is a mole lying! No wonder, that will be hard to first open!

16:05h Poor wet little girl, Stephi is home alone.
Is it possible that Stephi stay more time alone in the nest than Kalev or Miks?

It's interesting to see how different the parents protect/watch to the chicks.

Stephi has been standing there still for a long time and her breath hasn't been much piping... fortunately it's not raining any more. Stephi's head looks dry. it's funny how she's turned almost completely black just within days.
some days ago Alice wrote that she's been expecting that Stephi should start wing-execising. since that i've been waiting and hoping to see that, too...

16.40 Stephi took the mole from the back and dragged it to the front. she considered that it might be time for a snack but the mole is sooo big! so she gave up. i think she wasn't hungry enough....
then she backed to the rim and pooped. i think there's a woodpecked calling near the nest. there was one also earlier today knocking on trees.
btw: the nettle is growing back on the front rim of then nest.
Manu: we are so synchronous!
