Oh no! On the one hand - :shake: great, the nest cam is on! On the other hand, it is the same kind of stream like at the eagle feeding place, no films for me as I have not found anything compatible with me and the stream and my PC and snapshots only in a very difficult and cumbersome way! I don't have the money to spend on software to catch the stream and there seem to be no freeware software doing exactly what I want!

For the full version with all functions you still have to pay  - and I can't put such things on my office PC! So most of the day at the nest I'll be at work and can't do much from there as all the work-arounds are to cumbersome while I am supposed to work actually. :faint:

Yes, it is like that! Let's hope either the BS or the LSE come to this nest at all, so we have something to see!

This nest used to be a Black Stork nest, but it has undergone a few "musical chairs" changes in recent years! :slap:
Let's see who will own it this year.

More information from LK as it becomes available.

I have not had the usual notifications from Urmas or webmaster. I thought I shoud prepare a new topic, ready for the time when it is officially, on
Meanwhile, I will move a few of the recent posts from last year's topic, to here.

which Pontu picture? at what time? Urmas' boots?
Yesterday afternoon  Pontu started recording at 14:20 and when the light falls properly, one can see the prints. Don't know if it is Urmas', it looks like sneakers!

When the upload is finished, I post one here!

Funny, we are identifying birds and foot prints :rotf:

:rotf: I have been reading about seeing the new bird & the footsteps in the nest! HOw funny, we will try to identify anything, & we are usually pretty good detectives about such things, too.

What a beautiful bird spotted by Bubo & Ame! It was gorgeous, & it seems we may have settled that it was a young goshawk?

I too, wish the link for stand-alone media players was working. We did adapt to the cam system on the winter feeding ground, but it is more cumbersome. The view of the nest is good, though, it seems wider than last year & we see more of the branch at the front of the nest.

By the way, did we ever learn for sure if Tormi was a female or a male? :puzzled:
