Could it be a mole? Stephi still seems to be working on something.

She has either eaten it or dropped down, 'cause now she is pecking some twigs.

I think it got eaten. The other day after eating a frog I saw her poking at the nest and I realized this nest does not have proper sticks for beak cleaning. I think she was using the nest bed.

Today was almost our first day of summer, it was 39 or 40. I am really very happy because I have missed having hardly any summer so far, but still...
It has cooled down, although I think it is still too hot to sleep, but the heat has fried my brain so I think I should lay down.

11:20

Another mole, I was wondering if maybe Stephi had not really eaten the other one.

(The later it gets the hotter it feels  )

Before 11:20 delivery there was calls in the forest, then Tuuli appeared there with mole. Stephi isn't very happy about that mole. She's just staying here and looks at it.

Good night Alice :offtobed: here feels almost like autumn is coming and some birds are already moving away. And tomorrow I must go to work again. :slap: Which means I don´t have so much time any more to follow the nests.

Stephi is doing "very wild" wing exercises - sometimes I fear that she will jump over the stage of branching and begin with flying at once :faint:

And today she is targeting the branch in the backside middle all the time .....

That laying in nest wings spared, must be some kind flying simulation (feeling of muscles).I think so because I saw that for the third time.
Spot and Tormi did it very slowly, looked at the wings, the wings moved slowly.
With Stephi I saw only end, but Bea saw beginning.
I will post comparing pictures.

Spot hatching-31.05.2009, branched with 53 days, fledged…
Tormi hatching 10.06.2011, branched…… fledged…
Stephi hatched 10.06.2012, branched today
Kalev hatched 13.06.2012. When Kalev will do same thing? …….or not? ……..
(Sorry no time find out dates. And sorry my google English.)

Tormi and Spot both look very much like Stephi in those pictures. Are they both Tuuli´s kids?

Tormi´s nest is the same as Stephi´s. But I remember somebody saying this nest was originally for black storks? :puzzled:

Is Spot the same eagle who is in Kotkaklubis´s "movie"? :puzzled:
