Now she took some time to clean her feathers and take some sticks from the left to the right and left the nest again ....

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I don't hear thunder right now but either wind or rain or both. But that other, it was a crack like a gun shot for sure. Could have been a branch breaking, too.

15.21 rain started and the sun is still shining.
two minutes later the sun is out in a cloud. it sounds like hard rain.
Maxie
Bea got a nice set of pictures of both Tuuli and Remo. they start here: viewtopic.php?p=166743#p166743

Other question ...When young LSE 50 % dies, what is the reason for that high mortalaty. Really bad and that is in a good year. Its shocking
Than in a bad year there will be no chicks who survive?

had a lucky clickfinger today
Pine versus fir:
One more time google translator offers too much possibilities .... it mixes up all together - the German "Tanne", "Fichte" and "Kiefer" can, as google translator says, all be said as "pine" or "fir" or what else ...
But will better write fir, if it is the right word!

Hi Dadel,Dadel wrote:What does that bow to eachother mean? Can anybody tell that?
when Tuuli and Remo met again this season first time on the nest, they also made these bows to each other - probably a behaviour to show their relationship to each other.
Maybe another one can explain better?
