Hello Homedi and welcome to this forum!
What a great video from Tuuli and Remo - you captured them

I also lighted a candle today again for poor Stephi...
It was a very hard day for me, as I read it on 08-06.
I had a pic from one day before Stephi died,
I changed the light on this pic and use it as my background of my monitor:

thank you for the pictures and videos today! it's wonderful to see how Tuuli and Remo are preparing for the next breeding season with full steam ahead!
i've forgotten who asked a few days ago what T & R do when they are "bowing". this behaviour can be seen in Homidi's video at least twice. first at 8 minutes after the beginning of the video they bow to each other after Remo has arrived. that means that they stand opposite to each other and lower their heads till they almost touch the bottom of the nest, and then quickly lift their beaks up and straighten their necks. they repeat this routine several times, changing sides so that first the beak is on the left side of the partner and then on the right. it seemed to me that while they do this they look each other in the eyes very intensly.
a second time they do this is after 12 minutes from the beginning of Homidi's video. maybe it is some kind of "kissing", but i think it's certainly strengthening their bonding.
BTW: welcome all new members!
there are sooo many new that i've lost count because i've been busy elsewhere... i can only check every now and then...

Thank you, Homedi for the beautiful film from today of Tuuli and Remo preparing the nest for next year. I would liked to have seen the portion when they finally left the nest....This is the most "feel good" film I have seen since Stephi's death, however I felt that they looked sad. Thank you again for catching this moment for us on the forum who did not see it.Homedi wrote:Hi to all members of the forum.
