Hi all...just looked at Stephi and Tuuli. Stephi looked like a little flat pancake under Mom. Hope the rain has stopped for awhile. But, I don't hear any bad breathing right now.

There have been some bird songs but not much more. Just now Tuuli is waking up.

Tuuli had flown, Stephi did some calling and has curled back up to sleep.

I wandered a bit.

If we are lucky Stephi will return to the nest for at least a few days after flying.

Over the last hour or two Tuuli has come and gone a couple of times. The two of them have snuggled and Stephi has slept on her own.

I only heard funny breathing for a few minutes (but maybe Tuuli should bring some fresh greenery)

Stephi is sleeping and the sun is almost shinning.


Today I am seriously going to go to bed at a semi decent hour and I must do a little quilting first so...

Stephi pooped, worked out and then got big eyes as some kind of little bird flew about. I could hear the wings.

Did anybody saw food delivery today?

Im in the U.S. and I have a question,I have learned alot about Bald Eagles and Sea eagles but know nothing about these-do these eagles branch first and then fledge,or do they just simply one day fly? Thankyou

this is my frist year of watching eagles and of the ques. that i have asked about fleging and branching. the all do. the branch first and they fledge and they still come back to the nest to eat for awhile after fledging as they learn from mom and dad of hunthing.
i too live in the us and it is just way coool to watch they hatch and grow.
