Tuuli has been calling and calling but she does not seem exceptionally cross. It seems more like she is having a conversation.

13:27 - Remo with food for Tuuli. I did not see what it was, but it was something small. Tuuli grabbed it too fast, I did not get it on the picture..

15:01 - Remo with food. I did not see what he brought, I was not in the room. I just came in time to see that he had something in his beak. It was larger than last time.
Bea, maybe you got it? :help:

It was only a short good bye - Remo back with a good sized vole at 18:42

Thank you to all of you who are posting pictures & videos of Tuuli & Remo. It is hard for me to see all the cams with the time difference between the middle USA & Estonia, so I really appreciate being able to catch up with the events at their nest by your postings. I don't notice pictures here about jays, but at the other LSE nests & the buzzard nest, the jays are continually harassing the poor occupants. Tuuli & Remo are lucky not to be bothered much by them.

I have been watching the progress of the nettle plants this season. One has sprung up at the front of the nest, & I worry that it will interfere with our view of the chick after it hatches.

Oh, I wish it would stop raining

When I watched karu-cam until around midnight it had already begun to rain at tooni-cam .... I´ve let it run to hear the nightbird-voices ....

It works perfectly (Tuuli disappears and then magically reappears) and shows it Tuuli's wing motions.

Some late pictures

For a moment Tuuli was up so that the white egg glowed in the darkness but of course I failed to capture that.
