Hi Dadel,

Your English is fine. Yes, it is hard but soon we will only remember good days with Stephi. Stephi will be in our hearts forever, so she will live that way, forever.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Well, in 2010 they brought those branches only at the end of August of so.

Does anyone from Latvia know whether Gints and Grieta had the same nest this year or didn't use it anymore? I didn't find any topic about them.

Let our Stephi reincarnates and in her next life will become a big golden eagle! She deserved it!

What beautiful, beautiful tributes are being posted in memory of sweet Stephi. Tears are shed daily for this beautiful, special eaglette.

I have also been wondering about them. Last year they had a very sad end on their nesting too, when they lost their little eaglet..

Yes, that is why I ask, because they were in the similar situation(probably even worse) and Grieta flew away. Did they return next year?

Grieta and Gints didn't use last year nest. This year they built new nest 700 meters from old.

How do the parents know, stephy is dead and never will come back?
They don,t take a look to see if she is there?

Looks like they knew that Stephi was killed at the same day: Remo didn't call for her, just silently put the prey and left(remember, with Tormi a year ago he also brought a frog and cried louder and louder when Tormi was off), Tuuli appeared in the nest and immideately ate that frog instead of leaving it for Stephi. Also: Tuuli used to stay in the nest, that time she settled on the branch. She was waiting for the raptor to know who was that.
