Now it's time for a nap again.

11:50 - Kalev is home alone. She is panting, is it a hot day?

11:56 - Eha returns with a dry twig:

12:08 - It looks as Eha also thinks it's hot, and that she will protect Kalev:

Yes, it seems to be rather hot today, the adults spread their wings apart and the little ones lay flat on the ground.

Few minutes ago also Koit brought some food but Kalev is not nearly as hungry as Phi was.

Except from a feeding in the early morning, I have not seen any delivery by Koit, or feeding today. It is so nice that you saw Koit, Susie
And I am not surprised that Kalev is not as hungry as Stephi because, so far, Eha has not been so long gone from the nest as Tuuli is. It is very interesting to see these nests, and the differences, even though they are of the same species.

Eha didn`t feed it immediately, Kalev was not hungry and took another nap

Koit came and delivered right to Kalev (a bird, what else?). Eha was not pleased, looked right

and finally snatched the prey from Kalev

It's so nice to see how carefully he/she are with Kalev
Sorry, it's difficult for me to see who it is... So many birds, so many nest's and I'm an amateur

Manu, that's Eha, the female, and the male is called Koit.

And how I see the different between each other???

Eha is the one staying mostly in the nest and feeds, Koit is a little bit smaller than Eha, and what I would call in German "windschnittiger" (streamlined), the females tend to become a bit like Mommys with untidy hair, a bathrobe and curlers ... like, they have more soft feathers for brooding the chicks, they are a bit bigger. Seeing the difference is sometimes difficult because of the colouring, but in this case, I would say, Koit is a bit darker.

@Felis: Thanks for your explanation. But I'm not sure, if I could really see who is who, when they are not stay together
