I think this is Eha working on the nest this morning. Koit seems to have longer, thinner legs. but I could be wrong.

The birds are on and off at the nest during the days ... but make not really an attempt to lay an egg ... :puzzled:

Before Eha left she took a twig from the branch in front and brought it in a right place in the nest :D
Image

Then she made the same with a twig from the big branch on the right side - seems she doesn´t want to fly far for nestmaterial

April 18

Eha was in the nest when I looked at 7:00, and then Koit joined her. They both jumped to the branches and snapped off bits for the nest. Bea took a wonderful picture of this yesterday! Both have been back and forth bringing branches.

Does the nest look deeper, with more branches today?

Eha as been sitting there, calling out every so often. Sometimes geese honk their way past.

Good morning :hi:

Eha or Koit was here with a prey in her/his beak, but couldn`t take a better picture - I was out of the room and came in when I heard her/him calling and got it only from the back
The bird stayed only for seconds, then took off with the prey.

Image

I think prey was a frog - look at the wet panties of the bird :D
