Bea, we have captured the same moment
Not often to see Koit in the nest when I open the cam, but this afternoon he was.
16:18 - 16:22
Koit is on the egg:

Eha is calling, and Koit leaves:

After a little while, Eha tumbles down in the nest! Bea, same picture:)

To me, Eha has seemed restless today, and she has called a lot.
17:11 - Now it is a calm afternoon for Eha:

Not only mice but frogs also finished? I don't remember LSE ever brought birds in previous years, it were mice, voles, frogs, moles, once Koit found a half of rabbit, but never birds.

Maybe that`s the reason Koit is hunting "bigger" prey - the bad year of voles ....? This is not the first time during the last days that Koit brought "bigger" prey ... :puzzled:

No jays anymore. Maybe their kidshatched and the parents have now to get food for them and not to bother the eagles.

Eha had been out of the nest and when she came home she had to solve a "feather-problem"
At least she put it on the rim
