I'm relieved to see that on all three nests we are watching, the season seems to be not that bad after all! Even if quite a few birds are included! Frogs have not appeared that regular last summer, it was too dry, this year it's wetter, so they also keep on coming!

Yes, despite of what we feared, this LSE season has been one of the best. Three nests and three chicks, and non of them are starving :2thumbsup:

:hi:
17:20 - 17:36, Eha left the nest for a minute and returned with a dry twig. She found a place for the twig, and then she gave Kalev food, mole I think. I can see that Koit has filled up the storage, food is lying on the edge of the nest. Eha ate herself also.

A a little while ago little Kalev is alone and was fast asleep when suddenly Koit came soundless to bring a prey.

Kaley scared, spreaded the wings and opened the beak widely.

When Eha came back to the nest she started immediately feeding Kalev.

Good morning :hi:

Koit has delivered a mole, but Kalev is not so hungry, takes only a few morsels - but Eha seems to be hungry and eats more herself :whistling:
