Yep, it looked white and fluffy. A small bird was what I thought also.

11:14 - Eha was in the nest when I opened the cam. She was concerned with something outside of camera view..

She started to call, left to the right branch, and then I saw her flew to the left in the picture, still calling..
11:15 - Wait for me mum!!!

Eha had brought a good sized vole - Kalev protected it and wanted to eat it alone





After the vole Eha brought a new pine twig - it was interesting for Kalev and he explored it

18.41. I can´t stay and look at the poor Kalev. Hot as in hell and now I heard a shot I think.
It´s a miserable existence Roasted chick it is.
And alone day and night.

Kalev doesn't look poor at the moment and is happily eating the mole himself.
