I supposed he was behind the branch but after what happened to Stephi (poor little thing ) I was a little worried

OMG.. But I guess he did not make it though, because I can see something that look like a mole in the nest...it looks a little "twisted", as if it has been chewed on and spit out again...

First he tried so swallow it whole but then decided to spit it off - or chew it soft again until it will go down

Yes, luckily he spat it out and continued with little ripping. I think it was way too big to swallow.

Both Kalev and I is waiting and waiting. He is so happy when Eha is there Why don´t she turn up. I saw Kalev was ripping up a mole in the afternoon. A little one it was.

21:36 - No Eha in the nest, but I wonder if she is near. A little while ago Kalev was walking around in the nest, flapping with his wings and talking, just like he does when Eha arrives..

I think Eha is near, on a branch above ..... heard the same as you, Lussi, Kalev was chirping as if he saw Eha ...

I also heard Kalev chirping quite a long time... I think Eha (or Koit) was near. Good night little Kalev.

5.30 Food delivery. Did not see what it was, I assume it was a vole because Kalev swallowed it immediately.

08:51 - Eha arrived with a twig..Kalev took is "hiding position"..calling a lot..

08:55 - Eha and Kalev is having breakfast together. Eha is having mole, and Kalev something I don't know...(bird? )


08:58 - Mum, I like mole too...

09:00 - Ha, got it..

Again he tried to swallow the whole thing, but..

..it's best to eat it in pieces..Eha left the nest as you can see..
