I suspect they appear here every day just to show that the nest is occupied and because they don't want anybody to settle here instead of them.

Nice to see them spending some time on the nest. They look very well and all the nest work looks like bonding for a new season next year!

Felis: Thank you for the information and thanks to Urmas for his efforts :bow: . I was wondering the cam is working again. I've checked the cam several times in the past and cam didn't work then.

Now it is working again but to watch how the grass is growing is not very interesting.

Do you know why Tulli and Remo have not made eggs on this nest this year 2013?
Is it because their chick Stephie was killed in July 2012 by a hawk? The nest is not secure enough?

They arrived too late this year and maybe that was also the reason why they didn't breed. They visited this nest, stayed here, brought twigs but didn't stay here. Anyway, if they bring spruce twigs here, they will return. If they don't, it means that the nest is abandoned because of the 6th of August tragedy.

By the way, could the goshawk from last year be the one, treated in animal shelter and released in Tartumaa or was the released goshawk ringed???
