Isn't the nest a bit big for a small tit? Even if it is called "Great" tit
Slowly time is ticking off! I don't know, still, if I should be sad or relieved?

We have a new topic, a nest cam at a Greater Spotted Eagle nest in Poland:

A little bit sunshine on the nest - but it is still empty.

19.21 Empty nest, nice weather.
I looked last year´s thread: Tuuli arrived on April 12 and Remo on April 28. So I guess it´s not too late yet them to arrive. :2thumbsup:

Starling :hi:

I also won´t give up hope yet for nesting here. Spring made a late start this year - and who knows what´s going on out of our view? :whistling:

I checked the nest-cam several times a day. I didn't see any movements, but I didn't give up hope.

I don't give up hope. We had a bad and long winter, nature delays like the tits they can put off it for 1 month. In the birdmap you could see that some birds get south again because of the bad weather in Europe. If have the cam every day one for the coming of... :loveshower:

Suppose we have a choice: nobody in this nest or watch one more victim of the intruder what would be "the less evil"? I think the answer is obvious.

This cam is in the South Estonia while Tiit and Tiina's nest is in the North. So they should have been back.

Guess there are a lot of possibilities .... other nest somewhere here around, not yet in the area - still to come, other nest far away, no nesting at all this season .... and winter for Goshawks was hard, too :whistling:

Here's an article in the newspaper which said the LSE's are two weeks later "on tour" than years before.
I'm sorry, it's only in German.

So we will see what's happen here in this nest.

Thank you Manu for the article. It is clearly for me that birds adapt to nature.

Thanks Manu. Dr Kinser informed today also that the German website http://www.schreiadler.org/ has been revised. Information about the eagles in German and a link to the Latvian cam. They were partners in the Abel project.
Maybe we should not give up hope already
