The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

There is no thread for Dunrovin Ranch, I take it?

Possibly a serious situation going on there right now. Ozzie or Oz as he is known, is on the nest at 12:46am. He very likely has bailing twine wrapped around at least one foot if not both. A lot of people are monitoring at this time but the ranch owners probably are not aware, yet.

ETA: All appears ok, now. Oz managed to work himself free of the twine, we believe.

Okoboji Iowa osprey and their first egg this season.

Moonglow and her egg, Star, the dad stops by to check on them both and deliver a fish and a close-up of the 1st egg.

I don't think this cam in Orange Beach, Alabama is mentioned yet: http://www.ospreycamera.com/

The first chick there has newly hatched and I just saw the end of the feeding, before mum sat down again:

Calgary, Canada: https://www.enmax.com/community/keeping ... he-ospreys

This nest was covered with a thick layer of snow 2 days ago, while the 1st egg already was laid. Looks like most of the snow has gone now, but still some left:

The 2nd chick at the Bremen nest is finally completely out of the egg. Well done little one!

It's still wet:

And then, just seconds after crawling out of the egg, this happened:

Daddy brought a fish for his kids and it flopped into the nestbowl. No worries, all is well with the osplets and remaining egg.
