You're welcome Uta and congrats for the snap with 2nd egg!

I left cam stream at 8:41am wondering why little male wouldn't move from breeding the egg...and Lucy stayed calm beside him not trying to pushing him away
:rotf:

Thank you, Ferenz, for this nice bobble head pic. But this telephone cable could be very dangerous.

:hi:
Thank you Ferenz for all the updates and infos
Here is the answer for this thing from Osprey Pink Shell wich Lucy brought in:
The "snake skin" looking item is an egg casing to the Lightning Whelk seashell. They commonly wash up on our beach.

:hi: 03/03/16
I can not understand ,what is going on this nest on Pinkshell with Lucy and Ricky
Last late evening,Lucy went fishing, come back and Ricky to fly in.
Fish fight between parents.Lucy didn`t give up her fish.
She was eaten by herself and no feeding the chick.
The chick hatched Feb29,first and last feeding was in the afternoon march1 and Lucy have catched this fish too.
Ricky didn`t deliver any food!Only march2 parents were alert and defending by mantle the nest.
If this goes on, the only one chick will be dead. The other 2eggs showing no sign for hatch yet.
Now it is 08:32.Both parents were on nest for a hour.
Now Lucy on nest!

Ricky deliver fish2 without head. The landing was not so perfect. He lands with the fish over the chick but all is well.
Lucy was eaten a bit and feeds the chick at news.
