Wow, four eggs, that is very rarely...but I guess four are to much for raising all of them...
Really pity, that this cam is without sound.

Hi Bawet, many thanks for your informations and the link :)
I already read the article and found some others about Lady, I'll read them.
You also wrote about 20 y.o. eagle, but do you mean just eagle or maybe osprey ( I know you call it Seeadler ) ? Where exactly is her nest, could you give me a link, please ?
Congratulations for parents and their 4 eggs in Eschenbach nest !!! It's rather seldom to meet.
I saw them in the evening and keeping fingers
And in past years was it 4 also ?
I see both parents are banded, so do you know what is their age ?

Hi Ferenz thank you very much for nice pics of our Lipka nest :)

Hi Birdfriend I would not affraid, no. It is not too many and is quite possible to raise them
I know a nest in US with 4 eggs, the 4th was laid today, I think. It is at Stockton Lake, Missouri:
http://mclivetech.com/ospreycam/
It seems the stream is a bit weak, often buffering ( at my comp ) and there is no rewinding. So one must to be patient and to have some luck to see the eggs when a parent stands up ;) Down on the site you may find a kind of chat.
Last two years ( in 16 and 17 ) there also were 4 eggs and each year parents raised 4 healthy, strong and happy juveniles !

I'm keeping my fingers for poor Sylva and her eggs, maybe the new male will not destroy them ... ? I hope it's coming better time for her :) :2thumbsup:

:hi: Birdfriend,

at least you can see well into the nest.
The four eggs must hatch first.
The interval between egg 3 and 4 is only 2 days.
When three chicks are born I'm very happy.
In 2017, they had two eggs. An egg was destroyed in a fight.
I suspect the male of 2016 tried to reoccupy his nest. The second egg did not hatch.

The nest to EJ, 20 years, you can find here...

Osprey Eschenbach, All I know is that couple were in the nest last year. I know the ring numbers, but that's all I know.
I'll keep looking.
No chicks were born in 2017. One egg was destroyed, the other was unfertilized.

Balbucam, France
The scene, which will become a piece of anthology (like the first Charlots!) Proves abundantly that Peb has no bad intentions, but that he tries with little success to behave like Sylva he must have seen set up to brood ...

In trying to gather the three eggs, he turns in all directions in a rather comical way, but obviously he ends up getting upset ..

And an unfortunate kick spreads one of the three eggs, without the latter ever going overboard as it has been claimed. After five minutes, he drops the case: and after 7 minutes, he prefers to reach the perch.

This totally denies the dramatizing speculations that some people have engaged in, and to which I have personally given no credit. My only surprise is that Sylva did not bring the egg back with the others. But as far as the temperature is concerned ...

:hi: Ferenz,

Thanks for all your pictures and info.

my girlfriend sent me the YouTube link right away, but I didn't believe what was written there.
No new male hatches the eggs of the old male.

:hi: All

Eschenbach.
It is difficult to find a ring list in Germany.
The female is said to have been ringed 6 years ago in Brandenburg.

The nest is disturbed again and again by humans.
A week ago, even for 1.5 hours.

:hi: Bawet,

About EJ - thank you very much for links ! I know the Loch Garten nest, but don't follow it regularly. And - the first of all - I didn't know that EJ is so many years old, and even her name.
I know many nests in Europe and in US, but it's to much to watch them all.
Yesterday I found live stream from EJ's nest:
https://www.youtube.com/user/CarnyxWild/live
But they often close one and open other, so I subscribed the channel to be informed about news.

About Eschenbach - look at the 1st page of this topic, Ferenz put there on contact data to Beringungszentrale Hiddensee. The link gives an error, but click in Start and down there you find all the data.
I think they will help you, if you send an e-mail + pictures of rigns or call them. Especially, that the femal is probably born in Brandenburg, their area ! ( like our mum :) ).

What the disturbing humans are, tourists, hunters, rangers ?

:hi: All
Two days ago I found a site with a list of ospreys nests in all the world, aslo other birds and some animals:

:hi: silvergirl,

Thanks for your info.

There are three headquarters in Germany,
Ornithological station Helgoland ,
Ornithological station Hiddensee ,
Ornithological station Radolfzell

Radolfzell would be responsible for the nest in Eschenbach.

I'm looking for a list like the one she has in Britain.
http://ukospreys.uk/arrivals.htm
Cutting-edge, because Glesni has already been changed in 3J.
Glesni never came back this year.

The nest in Eschenbach was disturbed by a photographer!!!

I knew about the German female in Poland. It's the only nest of dual citizenship I know.

Hello everybody,

Sylva has fish.
Where he came from?
Reda was in the nest this morning or she fished herself.
The situation at the nest is still unclear.
Yesterday morning there was another fight between Reda and Weißfuss.
