I found some infos about this pair, Aila and Louis, in a chat. Their chick is named Lachlan. They are first time parents.
...
As Aila and Louis have been identified as possible 1st time parents, they have instinctively gone through this process without a manual to tell them how to do it, and perhaps only having one bobblehead to rear, albeit sad, was a blessing in disguise. We worry that he has only brought 2 fish today, but on average he supplies 3-4 and to my knowledge he hasn't missed a day.
Still a little while to go yet before these two instinctively head back home and leave their gorgeous creation to learn to fend for himself as they once had to. I've loved every worrying minute and hope they come back again so that we can go through it all again!
and this comment from a co-worker (communications officer) George Anderson from there:
It has been a dramatic week at the nest. Two chicks hatched last weekend. Unfortunately one of them did not survive.

Then the third and final egg hatched on Wednesday night but again this chick died. The remaining chick is doing well however. We are crossing everything in the hope that it makes it through to fledging.

Loch of the Lowes: MoM Lassie is on their way south
Bon Voyage LF15

We believe LF15 has now left on her migration. The last confirmed sighting was on Saturday the 5th at roughly 7 o’clock in the morning, on the nest. She was possibly around later in the day flying in the area and perched however she did not return to the nest. Her departure is a few days earlier than last year (13/8) but this is not unusual as she was slightly ahead of schedule this year in laying her eggs.

Now that LF15 has left its time for classes for PH1 and PH2 as they continue to learn from dad (LM12) to fish for themselves. For example, PH1 made an attempt on Sunday to perch and feed on the silver birch tree struggling with the idea of not dropping the fish, before returning to nest defeated. Hopefully the two youngsters will have this down before they leave for their own migration. Last year all three chicks left before the end of August so we assume PH1 and PH2 will leave around the same time or the start of September. It’s amazing to think that PH1 and PH2 will only be 13-14 weeks old before they have to make the long trip...

Loch Arkaig

Again a fine fish (flunder) from Louis. Aila was at first on the nest, then Lachlan comes too. Mom takes the fish from Louis, what Lachlan found not good. Short later he grabs the fish from his Mom.

At last good Aila is feeding him the rest from this fish. :D

Louis lands on the nest with an big flounder. Lachlan comes too. Then the fish jumps around in the nest, he was still alive.
But Lachlan can it manage and claims the fish.

Louis comes with a huge fish for Aila. Aila is calling for Lachlan, but he is not coming.

Aila left.

Later her son is back to the nest and good Mom re-delivers this fish from Dad, now he is half eaten. Lachlan is happy.

After a long waiting from Lachlan Dad Louis comes with an huge late evening fish. Lachlan had much trouble with this fish, this poor fish was still very lively and was jumping. :slap:
Some minutes later Lachlan can it manage.

He is eating now.

Edit: It was his first fish, that he unzip the head. A new lesson he learned!
