Johannes Bernard Schrøder: Boom: ;) Der har vi påskeegget! :D

GT translation: Johannes Bernard Schrøder: Boom: ;) There we have the Easter egg ! :D

Ja, egget ble lagt i går kveld. Vi ser toppen av det i reirgropa. Vi ser også på oppførselen til ørnene at de nå har egg i reiret. Vi skal legge ut video i løpet av dagen.

GT translation: Svein Junge Tidens Krav moderator badge :
Yes , the egg was laid last night. We see the top of it in the nest pit. We also look at the behavior of the eagles that they now have eggs in the nest. We 'll be posting video during the day .
@ Waldtaube:

BTW Has anyone succeeded to get sound in this view - me not? I remember having read something about the sound being bad because of the strong wind and that it should be adjusted somehow temporarily before Easter and finally when the chicks are big enough for a human visit at the nest.

EDIT: the egg was laid around 7 o'clock yesterday evening.

:hi:
I think that is the female, Baronessen - she has a little more fluffy "hair" than the male, Baron Blå.
If I understand correct there is a competion for the female eagle's name, the jury decides the name during the Easter time.

BTW the video of the egg laying is only visible for the registered subscribers of the magazine

EDIT: Male has rings on her feet. aktuell he lies in the nest
:hi: Liz01 - this couple is Norwegian, the nest lies on the west coast of Norway, some Southwest from Trondheim, on the island Smøla. He is called Baron Blå and she so far Baronessen (she will get a name during Easter by jury of the name competition).

About the sound for 7 days ago:
Svein Junge Tidens Krav moderator badge
Vi har dessverre fått en "during" på lyden så vi har valgt sende uten lyd inntil videre. Vi har funnet en løsning på problemet, og håper å få ordnet dette snart. Opptakene gjøres med lyd, og her får vi til å fjerne duringen.

GT translation

We have unfortunately gotten a " hum " on the sound so we opted for sending without sound until further notice. We have found a solution to the problem and hope to have arranged this soon. The recordings are made with sound, and here we get to remove rumble .
from yesterday:
Per Eivind Furseth:
Er det utsikter til at lydoverføringen kan repareres?
*****
Svein Junge Tidens Krav moderator badge:
Per Eivind: Ja, det blir lyd. Målet er å få opp en midlertidig løsning før påske. Når ungene er ca. 3 uker kan vi dra ut til øya og installere enheten som gir støyfri og god lyd fra reiret.

GT Translation:
Per Eivind Furseth:
Are there prospects that sound transmission can be repaired ?
*****
Svein Jung Tidens Krav moderator badge:
Per Eivind : Yes, there will be sound. The goal is to get a temporary solution before Easter. When kids are approximately 3 weeks we can go out to the island and install device that provides noiseless and good sound from the nest.

Yes, if only I could see "hair" I had thought that she is Mom. When he stood up, I saw the blue ring  :D

Baron Blå and Baronessen have built their nest bowl in a sort of alcove behind a trunk where we have difficulties to see the egg(s) and probably the chicks during their first days ... But it is wise for sheltering the offspring.

MARCH 28. Saturday

Forenoon Baron visited Mrs. Eagle :D ! Exchange was not. Baron looked around a bit, arranging the nest and flew away. True, Mrs. Eagle stood up, but then was forced to sit on the eggs

Baron Blå and Baronessen have raised chicks here for five years - starting as soon as they became adult eagles.

There's a little article about the nest in the Tidens Krav newspaper in english language.
http://www.tk.no/Watch_the_white_tailed ... 44029.html

It's said there, that Baron Blå is 11 years old.
