After I saw the squirrel in the morning I noticed no activity on the nest (when I had an eye on the cam).
The whole day it was a fierce wind and I'going a bit seasick because nest was shaking very hard.

Oh wow - you saw a squirrel yesterday :loveshower:

Today morning a Hooded Crow was here and had a look at the nest, found a feather and took it, but finally left without the feather.

i wonder if eagles will come and nest here? it seemed to not have rings - so i am imagining no-one knows who this one is... :innocent:

EDIT: it occurs to me that it might be too late in the season?

that's what i was thinking: it's a bit late to start building a nest now, compared to Linda and Sulev who had the first egg two weeks ago (almost). :puzzled:

the eagle seemed to have a fully white tail.

great capture Bea!
is the sound offset in your video, too? i think the sound of take-off came first and then the action..

Thank you, Bea. So it may not be too late for this nest?

I looked at a picture of the nest on 10th March, and at the webcam today. I see no change in the arrangement of the sticks on the nest.

No, no changes yet, no sticks or hay brought in ....

Whole day, from time to time, one can hear eagle calls .... but nothing more happens here at the nest.

It came in my mind that they are perhaps fooling us  .... that they´ve already built a new nest not so far away and that´s the reason why we hear them calling .... :puzzled:
