Well, I hope Durbert's maiden voyage to the skies won't be heralded by a downed cam. :bash:

17:07 Back again, Prince is exercising wings in the wind, running in the nest.

The big cone is gone; Did he cut it for us?? :rotf:

Cam is sputtering. Last seen he was feeling the wind with his wings & jumping about on the nest.

the camera has been off again for some time... Liz, if you see this could you send a new message to your guy?

if this goes like it did yesterday the stream should stabilize soon. yesterday it did from 17:52 onwards.

thanks Liz! camera is back on since 17:53.

Baby is at home lying and calling for supper. he is half asleep. if he has spent most of the day sitting on the far edge of the branch and absorbing the new view he must be exhausted. :whistling:

Weatherbug says 70 degrees in Liepaja. Please let me know if there's a city closer to the nest.

the camera stream is transmitted in a normal 4G-network. brachux wrote yesterday (and also earlier i've heard this) the the 4G-network is overloaded (or something like this). that's why the camera keeps stopping. it seems to be most vulnerable in the afternoons (12 - 18).

in a way today was better when the camera was off continuously compared to yesterday, when it restarted and stopped, restarted and stopped, restarted and stopped... that got on my nerves. today i was able to do something else, too, than clicking the cam.

70? how much is that "in real degrees"?
i hope you don't mind that i edited the picture out of you quote. it wasn't necessary in the post. i wrote about this earlier in the morning...
