One of the eagles is eating the prey coot and the other one is lying on the nest bowl.
I will believe that it is still not too late to lay new eggs and raise a couple of chicks this season in Denmark.

I think the same. The eagles have brought, finally, new hay and greenery in the nest .... But they need time for new eggs after what has happened with her first clutch.
Now an egg can come every day. :2thumbsup:

@ macko
The 'marten entrance' looks a little tighter, though, they have worked on it! :D
There was a question on FB earlier that could they prevent the martens climbing up with a sort of plate under the nest around the tree trunk. But it got the answer that the marten can really use any other tree around the nest, too. Unfortunately the marten is still a ghost behind this pair's attempts.

One of the eagles is in the nest and covers the nest bowl from the rain with her/his wings - so the condition of the nest bowl is protected - hopefully it means that it will soon be used ...

BTW I think that the female eagle has still a sign of the last year wound in her left foot, it seems still to be in a little weird posture ...

I saw this kind of band under the Goldeneye (Bucephala clangula) nest.
Image
But in Denmark are some adjoined treetops (you can see it in this DOF's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHxOyycFny8), so necessary would be a couple of bands.

Mom spends the night in the nest.... it's good sign.

Both eagles, or one of them visited the nest during the day. Now female is here and seems she is going to spend the night in the nest again.

The female is still in the nest, probably again spending the night there. A few moments ago she was arranging hay around herself. It looked as if she was going to lay an egg. Everything looks as if they really try it again.

Thank you all for the pictures and the video! :2thumbsup:

Edit:
20:09 Both eagles at the nest!
20:17 Nest time the female flew away (though the web cam clock is 5 minutes too fast).
The male is still in the nest.
20:23 Female is back.
