This transmitter does not look comfortable at all

Wouldn't it cause problems when the stork is breeding and "kneeling" in the nest???

The backpack could interfere with the mating... etc.

That's what the experts have to decide!
We collect the money. It is important for the animals.

Is it important? We still have time until the end of December. Let us wait ... it is time enough!

Hi, Liz01.

I can alter the end date at any time. I will ask Urmas before I do it, but I suspect that it can be extended to the end of January, and still give him time to acquire the funds, order the equipment and have them ready for use in the Spring.

Leetchi = 2925 Euros

This is a marvellous effort by all of our supporters. We have almost realised the dream of raising 3000 euros for three backpacks.
Happy days! :loveshower: :loveshower:

With just a little more effort we shall soon be able to send the funds to Kotkaklubi and look forward to a more confident 2018 season and beyond.

Thank you for your donations.

Wonderful news!
Yesterday, we reached and passed our target.

The Money pot now has 3060 euros. It stays open until January 31st. Leetchi will charge 2.9% of the final total of funds raised..
That we reached our target, in the quiet time of year, is so gratifying. I thank everyone who has supported our Black Storks.

The Leetchi Money Pot stands at 3150 euros.

It is absolutely marvellous that we have, between us, managed to raise all the funds in our target, and then just enough more to allow for the fees to be paid to Leetchi.
I don't know how to begin to thank all of the donors who have made it possible for Kotkaklubi to buy more transmitters.
Nonetheless, I do

THANK YOU ALL

The Money Pot will be closed in about 2 hours and 30 minutes from now - at midnight in Estonia, January 31, 2018

The claim process has begun, requesting a bank transfer of funds from Leetchi to Kotkaklubi. When the transfer is complete, I will post here, as soon as I know about it.

00.09 The Money Pot is now closed.

Just to stay in touch -

The claim for a bank transfer has been made and I have a receipt for the claim. I see that Leetchi are in the process of checking the documentation, ID, Registration, etc.
They will send e-mail when they make the transfer.

The total amount raised was 3150 euros.
Leetchi fees - 91.35
Total payable to Kotkaklubi - 3058.65 euros.

I had hoped that, by now, I would have been able to say that the funds had been transferred to Kotkaklubi.
Alas, no.

Leetchi insists on ever more documentary proof of the correct status of Kotkaklubi. It is reassuring that they take great care of people's donations. At the same time, it feels frustrating to have to keep Urmas waiting.
I hope there will be happier news very soon.

Good Morning Jo, :hi:

I'm sorry to read that!
I read that sometimes there are problems with Leetchi.
From my point of view, they should ask for all documents before the fundraiser.
For me it's not okay what they do now, were they have to pay. I will rate them, they do not get a good rating from me.

Done... What I've read is when you rate Leetchi on Trust Pilot, then they respond faster!

Good morning.

Liz01, thanks for your input. On Trustpilot you state that we have waited since 31.12.17. That was the original end date, but then I extended it to 31.01 2018.
I don't know if you can, or want to edit your message?

I had e-mail from Leetchi yesterday in which they apologise for the delay. Their bank refuses to pay our funds until they see proof of the registration of Kotkaklubi. I suppose that is reasonable, but we are dealing with a club whose members are not office-based. As Gunnar was outside doing field work he could not be attending to our paperwork needs. Urmas is out of the country until next week. I hope that the gods of fund-raisers will give us our euros before then.
Let's not be too hard on Leetchi, yet.

Thanks, Liz01. You deleted it? But we may have need of it again, so don't go away!
At least, we can do our part to be accurate!

Feb. 21 - maybe that is enough time. We depend upon Kotkaklubi to provide the necessary documents, so it is not only Leetchi we wait for!
