I feel like I have said this, but maybe I have only thought it dozens of times

For me Olga's place is not so much a dreamland as a magical place. It is the greeness of the lawn -- we have summer droughts and in part it is the stone wall (we have concrete block walls) and then there are the trees! I am sure there are creatures who come out to dance by the light of the moon.

That photo of the apple tree is like a painting by Cezanne or something.

Thank you, Alice for your words, again.. Yes there are animals, and the next visitors will be, I hope so, the White tailed deers who will come to eat those bushes behind the apple tree! They push their heads throght to fence etc..But this way I need not to cut them in the spring. In winter they visit in the night, so is not propable that I can take a picture.

There was not much light today the 3rd November at 15:30.

An aspen, the biggest one on this hill, and it's leaves there down..

One lilac bush has still green leaves, but most of them have fallen down. The reddish brown bushes are my white midsummer rose bushes. There is seen also one branch of an oak with brown leaves.

The sun was going down at 16:20, and the last golden reyes lighted the dry leaves of my other apple tree.

Oh,I bet they loved that. :D
Our son and our dog (a cocker spaniel ) grew up in warmer climates and our son saw snow for the 1st time when he was 6 yrs. so we took him to the Vosges mountains here to SLED.
He and the dog were delighted. The dog followed him up and down the slopes EVERY
time and by the end of the day we had to CARRY the dog to the car. He was so full of snow he couldn't move anymore. :rotf:
We put him in his 'place',at my feet and even when we got home the snow was still stuck everywhere.!! I think we had to use the hairdrier to get it off.
So,when I think of dogs and snow..that's what I remember. :shake:

Today the garden looks miserable.. But the squirrel was fine
