Now I understood. At same moment there was an other squirrel on the lawn, this one has perhaps found a little nut store ...Without any hurry, there was it sitting in all peace. It would not have seen the other one behind the feeder.. :innocent:

A squirrel who lost his nut

There was a squirrel sitting on the feeder in the afternoon sunshine. He jammed one nut after other.

Image

- Better to eat now that there is calm here..ah, I like nuts so much..

Hi, Carmel

Silk ear is allready there, in the early morning of 20th May

What she did yesterday is an other story..

Image

PS: I forgot to tell yesterday that I made a small test before the Grayish squirrel came: Squirrels had been away almost all the day. The feeder was empty. In the late afternoon I put some nuts on the feeder. Let's see how soon they notice that. It took only ten minutes and the squirrel was there!
