Thank you so much!

This is my second illness in just about one month and my second illness in about 7 years and I was not dealing with it at all well.

Today I think I am going to live. I did some laundry and dishes -- and I went outside and walked over the uneven lawn which was painful on my sore foot to take some pictures, which I will get out of the camera today or tomorrow.

So lovely, Alice. I envy your climate in the Northwest compared to ours. The couple of trips I've made to the states of Washington & Oregon left me amazed at the variety & lushness of the plant life there, & all the flowers.

Currently I am feeling a little cranky about our wildlife as the birds have all deserted my feeder just when I could use the entertainment.

I have lived in Oregon with a short stint in British Columbia (and a shorter less pleasant one in Fort Wayne Indiana) for most of my life so I have grown accustomed to our climate, which aside from horrible rains all winter is fantastic

I had a bit of a relapse so now I am taking lots of naps and not trying to do more everyday. My photos are now spread out on three computers so I am going to be posting some a little bit out of order (but then spring doesn't flow in completely logically)

These are Tulips taken down the street from my house.

I guess if I post this way from flickr only 2 pictures per post

I think all of these pictures were taken today when I was on a short walk through my neighbourhood.

Hallo Alice  Those are beautiful pictures. It is nice to see how nature comes alive after the cold and hard winter. We must really enjoy what lays ahead of us

Our winter might shock you rain and rain and more rain and then yet more rain.

Wish you a speedy recovery, Alice, and your photos are beautiful, as always! It's really a good thing that after a hard winter - may it be with lots of snow, may it be with rain - colorful flowers, bushes and trees open our hearts! Spring is my favorite season, I like it, when the green is not just green, but so many different shades, when otherwise green corners bloom and when nature explodes over night, as it happened here in this year!
