27th August continues, yesterday..

The little boy returned at 17:00. He stayed only for three minutes, but I was lucky to be there behind the curtain!

Oh, so many photos from eyesterday.. :D Those were not all, because something happened later in the evening!

We saw a gray cat on the rock behind my vegetable plot. It was about at 19:20. And then I tried to see what is the cat lurking.. Squirrels!! The cat was lurking squirrels :help:  We could see that there on the pine branches on the hill top were two small squirrels, they were there seemingly scared and hiding themselves. The other one has a very small and thin tail - that squirrel I have not seen on the feeder.

Anyway, I had camera with me, the usual pocket cam.. These are the best photos I managed to take. I knew that they are scared of me too. I did not stay under the pine more than one minute, then I left them in peace and did not watch them not even from the window... (the cat we had chased away..)

Wow, this is really a great shot!!! :rotf: :loveshower: The tail is just most beautiful! And it has two tiny ears! :rotf:

Thank you again, Olga, for all the pictures and stories! And many thanks for the nuts and seeds and water you're giving to these sweet little animals and birds.

If I would have a camera (I mean a camera like the ones at the nests and feeding places etc), I would put it on your window so that we all could follow the squirrels and birds visiting your feeder.

I will not abandon Squirrels! Of course the baby dog needs much care and attention, as well as the older dogs too of course, in this new situation.

I have some photos from yesterday and two from today waiting to be put here! I mean of squirrels too! But I'll post them later!

29th August at 5:55 in the early morning there was some squirrel eating.. It was the day when we got a new family member, Lapp Dog Nappu! I was cleaning the rooms and floor for the puppy. I know how eagerly they put in their mouth what they ever find!

Image

So, the day was busy. I was happy to introduce squirrels too the dog people who came and brought the puppy! Little Boy was there sitting and eating, climbing back and worth and my guests were a bit surprised..

At 19:30 I saw Silk ear:
