The littel boy squirrel jumped to sit on the roof of the feeder and there he was. For two minutes he just was there:

Photo of 'boy'

Here Olga,on the following link, is a picture of a squirell from last October, I think it is the 'boy' there already (with his tassels ); viewtopic.php?f=30&t=137&start=40

Yes, macdoum, I aggree, it is very possible. It looks to be a male, not female, and he looks so familiar :D

(perhaps it would be ok to I write there an "edit-message: recognized to be Little Boy by mc the 30th August 2010" - in different color and add a link to here too..).

continues, 30th August, same squirrel:

is she the same as the 'other female' 'Anja' :D - not Silk ear.. hm.. :puzzled: the bite there close to the shoulder looks out much the same. Squirrels can look quite different from different angles!

:faint: At last this Busy day with one very young dog, one very old and from between them, is in the end! half

But because it is complicated to put photos in order too late I'll put the last three photos from the 30th August. Silk ear appeared suddenly on the feeder quite late in the evening. The ceiling lamps lighted her to yellow-red! I tried to edit photos more normal:

20:30, sun was going down behind dark clouds

31st August

Early in the morning there was one squirrel, eating and watching around the silent garden. I thing it is our Little Boy - the bite is seen on his right upper arm (paw.. :puzzled: )

Olga, do you want to start an Autumn in Finland topic, or do you want me to do it?
If so, shall we have an "Autumn" topic then later, a "Winter" topic, or Autumn and Winter in one?

So many questions! :rotf:
Or, I can just go away and let you get on with it - what would you like? :innocent:

 To begin tomorrow a new topic 'Finnish Fall' would be fine! I have had the thought in my mind lately, but so much things have happened here in 'Southern Finland'..and I have been so confused!

It is so traditional here that people think generally, that the 1st September is the first day of Fall! When begins the winter.. :puzzled: hm... The 'winter time' (it has to be snow in winter!) has changed so much during the last decades, that no-one can say for sure anymore. Let's see later the topic 'Finnish Winter'. Our winter may begin in November, December or perhaps in January 2011 (if snow comes only then.. as it has happened).
