Silk ear, at 16:00

She is easy to recognize if the brownish spots are seen. She behaves also quite calmly.

The face of Silk ear may look different from different angles, but her 'spots' reveal her at last. There was a deep bite on the right rib of her body and there is still like a hole on that place on the fur. But it relieving to see how well she has recovered.

pics from yesterday continue

She raised her head a bit :D

The summer pictures allow one to see how much thicker her fur is now than in the summer.

Today I have got photos only of Charley. He came after 14:00 and was hurry, stayed there for some 10-15 minutes and left. But he was furious with the fat ball on the basket.

....was Charley furious because he could not get the fat-ball out of the basket ? :D
Surely yesterday he ate so much...a whole fat-ball..!! that he can be so hungry today too :puzzled: .. Maybe its vital they eat a lot for their winter 'fast' ?

 Good questions, macdoum. He tried to get the ball off even earlier, the day before yesterday before he jumped on the branch top and ate the whole fat ball there, in one hour. The ball is tied with an iron wire.

The next squirrels were the youngster, and Charley who had no patience to wait, he came at same time - he was chased away by the red brownish young one.

Some more photos of the youngster. I begin to be sure that it is the baby squirrel we saw in September or some weeks ago, it has grown of course:

What a nice video  Maybe I have to construct one more feeder like that on the captures I took from the video. I have materials at hands, a saw and a hammer, also a piece of that transparent one:
