Soon she climbed down and was in full swing.

She continued her lively afternoon moments, pushed her nose out of the focus!

She noticed the second floor store. I reconstructed it yesterday. The old platform there was difficult to keep clean.

The last five minutes:

This place is so typical to her, sitting on the roof:

She made a fast decision to jump down.

At last the fat ball was free for the wood pecker.

It looked nervous, surprised..

- What, that spotted furry wingless animal has eaten my food...

Image

- yes, I see, something is missing..

Image

- it is not all right, but you can't get everything you wish. C'est la vie!

Image

It's enough for today!

One thing more:

BTW, I think I recognized the gray guy with Silk ear yesterday. It was Mathias, a male that has followed Silk ear in the earlier years, a 'short legged' squirrel
(look ata his paws :D ), or how to say, he looks like a bit fat:

Aprill 22nd 2010:

Mathias, the mate of Silk ear (she was earlier also called Fina, but later in last summer she revealed to be the same squirrel as Silk ear)

Yesterday, the position is ... I know it, this is how he looked to the window in last year too:

I just quietly admire all of them! They are so cute! :loveshower:
For a while we also had a water bowl standing outside, but people are so stupid, they used it to throw their garbage and cigarette stubs into it, so we had to remove it again.

Could it help if you put there a small card with words: Attention! Keep this water clean, please, don't put any garbage here, the water is for my little furry friend to drink!.. or something like that.. I can't say it in English short enough.

It's a pity! Squirrels need pure water!! A hot summer is ahead!

Heavens, Silk Ear is losing her winter coat so quickly now!
Image

This evening I was driving along a very narrow lane which had houses back from the road - a secluded area.
Outside one house was a notice that said "Half blind cat may be in the road. Please drive carefully"
I think it may be worth putting some kind of notice near the water bowl, and try again.

3 :D The water cup has to be adjusted in a better place to avoid to cast one's toes in water.. Hm.. It would be easy to put a cover with some kind suitable hole. I try to keep the water clean.
