BTW, I think I recognized the gray guy with Silk ear yesterday. It was Mathias, a male that has followed Silk ear in the earlier years, a 'short legged' squirrel
(look ata his paws ), or how to say, he looks like a bit fat:

I just quietly admire all of them! They are so cute!
For a while we also had a water bowl standing outside, but people are so stupid, they used it to throw their garbage and cigarette stubs into it, so we had to remove it again.

Could it help if you put there a small card with words: Attention! Keep this water clean, please, don't put any garbage here, the water is for my little furry friend to drink!.. or something like that.. I can't say it in English short enough.

It's a pity! Squirrels need pure water!! A hot summer is ahead!

Heavens, Silk Ear is losing her winter coat so quickly now!


This evening I was driving along a very narrow lane which had houses back from the road - a secluded area.
Outside one house was a notice that said "Half blind cat may be in the road. Please drive carefully"
I think it may be worth putting some kind of notice near the water bowl, and try again.

Today Silk ear was there when I came to me work room, at 7:55

3 The water cup has to be adjusted in a better place to avoid to cast one's toes in water.. Hm.. It would be easy to put a cover with some kind suitable hole. I try to keep the water clean.
