More snow?
Here today the sun was shining and people were sitting outside to have coffee or snacks!
Good that your squirrel seem to learn the way to your feeding place from their parents already!

Now that the roof of our house has been cleaned from snow, we have almost a chaos in the garden, snow hills everywhere and only narrow paths to walk almost normal. Today I didn't see squirrels, but all birds were at place.

About at 12:00 appeared the second squirrel. I took a long video and divided it in three parts. It was funny to see how the third squirrel approached (on the the third part), decided not to climb at the feeder, and then it run through the snow castle corridor

There it goes!
We made the snow castle together with Nappu. She made the first hole on the snow hill, and made the rest, a way through the hill.

So sweet! And there is another squirrel running in the background when the third one sits on top of the snow castle!
I saw one today near the vet clinic when I waited there.

I see Nappu loves the snow. I was wondering, when I saw him digging, was she training to be a rescue dog. ? For avalanches.

I thought the same, I thought something must be buried there for Nappu!

A new shelter for bird food has been made. The snow fall does not cover the seeds too fast.

Today I saw one squirrel under the seed shelter. But the video was too bad.
The Black woodpecker has been active during last days. Here is a video view of his work place, a rotten birch trunk... he has worked hard today. I didn't get the bird on the video, but here you can see how hard he worked:
Palokärjen puutyöt = the timber work of the Black Woodpecker
The birch has been dead for some years. Last summer a half of its trunk broke and fell down on the rock. But woodpeckers do like it!
