 Yesterday I saw three squirrels, one at the feeder and two under the apple tree. The first one was just leaving when I got my camera at hands. The two other squirrels there the further were running one after the other, at first it looked like fighting. But at last they seemed just having fun while climbing on the big spruce and then running there up and down.

A he or a she :puzzled:

Today there was a squirrel who behaved in an interesting way. He/she stopped the lunch for quite a long times, for 5-30 seconds at whiles, and sat on his/her back almost motionles like a little statue, and just seemed to be like listening to something. I don't know to what.. how could I.. :puzzled:

He/she was there for about 20 minutes.

There is a snow flake on a mustache hair..

This little guy looks very well fed!
I saw today, that a colleague in a house belonging to my work has made photos of a squirrel coming to his window! In the second floor! They almost look like those photos I made of "our" squirrel.

Perhaps it is that why I think I do not recognize him anymore! This little guy has been at place at lunch times. I think he is handsome! :D

Lets' wish that your squirrel will return!

At last the window was so full of drops of melting snow that camera denied to take video of the squirrel, it accepted just the water drops!

Just snow is moving and falling here.. The squirrel begins to look like snow man.

Poor squirrel, it was probably completely hypnotized by all the snow that fell... :help: - or maybe the Hawk was around, it eats not only birds but also rodents... So many great pictures today

Lussi, you are right, I think. The squirrel was camouflaged to a snow ball. Hawks are not interested on snow balls! Also birds were hiding at the same time!

So much snow
We did not have a particularly good day, not even warm, but it definitely goes towards spring! The birds were singing so nice today already!

Yes, very nice he looked. I think it is the same one as yesterday, perhaps 'our youngster! An other squirrel was eating at same time under the shelter behind. It was warm day, only -3-4. The snow en general has a hard surface, and holds squirrels and even dogs (not me.. :D ) Only the fresh snow is soft, and we got it about 10-15 cm.

I have seen the worrisome news in the Picnic Ground..

Well, I'm thinking of our Carmel,.. waiting for her, to see her soon!

But in the mean time, spring is coming to Squirrel Hill. Our youngster's ear tassels were all wet today:
