He was checking several times if he was alone or not.

It's only one month till Christmas, and we have not got snow yet

This morning the water in the bowl was fozen.

I was a beautiful but coldest day if this fall: -5 C!

I put the icebound water there on the table, to see if it melts close to the window. It didn't. There was also fresh water in the pot, but it was frozen in 30 minutes.

 Long time no see!

Squirrels are moving every day around the house. I have seen even three squirrels at same time, but only from too far from the kitchen window. Days are very dark during these weeks, it's difficult to take photos or videos.

Early in the morning some of the squirrels visit the feeder, but he/she seems to prefer fat ball.

yesterday and the day before yesterday:

Nappu and Nanu need to be kept separated again, about for three weeks.

Hello Lussi

:puzzled: It has been quite a stormy weather, wind and rain, but no snow..

Squirrels are back but hideous, there are several of them here around the house, but only some few, perhaps one single of them likes to visit the feeder. But Great tits are devoted visitors, as well as a couple of the Wood peckers:

 Hello Olga! Your dogs look like absolutely innocent  No chance they could be up to anything!

We also have no snow yet, in fact, it's more like spring! No squirrels!

Hi, Felis Silvestris

Yes, they are sincere and innocent, and they like each others very much. I noticed the actual situation one day after I took the portrait of them. Nappu is 18 months old, so, she is still too young. Again we have divided the house on two parts. :D

I think there is lots of food for squirrels in the forest. They have no need for extra nuts.. Perhaps it is the same there in your country too.

On our weather broadcast map there seems to have put a snow flake with a water drop on the next Monday, there is also hope of getting water or snow or both.

Yes, we had an extremely good year for beechnuts. I have never seen so many before in my life! But also other trees had lots of fruits and nuts and I think so far they had no need to "ask" for food. I don't think Leonia had guests at her "restaurant" yet.

I really like your dogs, they look so cute!

On Sunday I saw a tit inspecting the holes the woodpecker made! It went in and out for quite a few times. I have not seen the woodpecker since the holes were made, but I am at home during the week only when it is dark and on the weekends he/she was not there. I am curious what will happen next year, will the woodpecker move in, will the tits use it?

Edit: I heard that maybe by this weekend the good weather will change. But we can't complain, it's almost December!

It's December! And no snow.. Morning was so dark. I turned the roof light to shine to the feeder, on and off and on and off again. The light did not help much.

Nappu was the first who noticed that someone was there:
