Daily visitors, Silk ear Paula and Mops. Yesterday Silk ear appeared at 15:00. Soon she seemed to hear something. Yes, there was Mops approaching. Silk ear left, she likes to avoid conflicts..

Mops does not have a tick on the ear top. It is an old scar that has 'opened'. It just looks like that, there is a little piece of skin - I guess it will fall down sooner or later and there will be little 'hole' on ear top edge. The scar is dry and does not look bad at all. I have seen scars like that one on the ear top earlier too.

Some pics from last summer. It seems to me to be Star on the pictures. She had that kind of scar on ear too:

Scar ear on video, in summer 2011. She has to be Star. I know her face.

She has not been seen lately.

 This day is so sad, I know what happened there on the nest of Tuuli and Remo. I was following Stephi from the beginning..
Goshawks can be seen and heard here on Squirrel hill, too, not often, but one never knows..

I am happy always when I see a 'familiar' squirrel.

Paula Silk ear appeared again at 18:00.

Yes, it is very sad what happened! Nice to see your squirrels are doing well though! I saw one too when I went for a short walk today to get my head clear after what happened - it consoled me a bit!

Wow, woodpecker was a lot of time at your feeder and you could record him so near and clear. And the brave great tit stay with him together, so cute...
Every time when I see Silk Ear with her blueberry-mouth I'm laughing...

One dark brown squirrel is passing my office window every day at the moment. Seems it is the daily round, past my window, up the little stairs, a short break to look around on top, over to the tree, up the tree, over to the roof of the house and across the roof to the other side.

 Nice to hear! If possible, please, take a photo of it :D

I have seen Silk ear, not every day. Yesterday she was seen, and she looked just the same as on the 7th August, just the right cheek fur has grown better to see.

I took a photgraph, by occasion:

Other squirrels are 'hiding'.

There seems to become lots of cones for next winter, and hazel nuts too..

Nanu!

 I tried to make a great video of Nanu, my male dog, 13 years:

Nanu, Nappu jumping around:

It's Nappu talking, and she was tied on that day, the day of her adventure on the other side on the hill.

Good to see your squirrels, even if they don't come so often at them moment.
I don't know if I manage to get a good shot, I think I have to take the camera with the tele lense once. But usually if I carry this heavy thing, nobody comes around!
