I have so a good opportunity to take videos through the window, but some times I may take them too much! But little by little I'll catch the two weeks I was busy and could not even check what 'I have seen', I mean the camera has seen.
One more video for to night, from the 29th June, of Charley, the young and nice squirrel boy.
First some pics: - Let me see..
..oh, I see!
-Are these all for me, really..
- I shall not give my nuts to anyone else, just try, did you hear me?
- This is something for me..!

A happy little Red squirrel enjoying his nut lunch on the 29th in the afternoon, Charley:
..yummy, yummy
- I think I will be back here. See you!
But the squirrel life is not just happines and eating nuts, you know. On the same afternoon, soon after Charley, there was a fight: It lasted just for three seconds. But the nails of squirrels are sharp. Mops got a wound on the skin above the other eye lid. The sweet but wild squirrel lady Bertha, wanted to eat with Mops, but, oh my.. Mops did not want! Mops attacked on Bertha, and Bertha smashed Mops on the forehead.. It did not look good, it looked bad!
Beforehand news: The wound of Mops was not bad! It has healed on it's own.
The story of squirrel life will go on tomorrow - In case that anything too important does not happen - if so, then on the day after tomorrow!

Yes, Mops is very fine, no problems.
But I have worrisome news about Bertha. She begun to have some kind of problem. It was hard to watch day by day: her other cheek begun swell, badly, during seven days. On the 13th Friday I phoned to a squirrel professional and sent her pictures and a video taken on that very same day. She hoped that we could take her in a cage... and go with her to vet...etc
Well, it's a long story, but for the moment Bertha is in Korkeasaari Zoo. There are the best vets and professionals in Finland. She has been there from Sunday midday the 15th July, in Korkeasaari Zoo in the medical center for wild animals, it is in Helsinki, 35 km from Squirrel hill, on an island in the sea, close to shore and the city of Helsinki.
..yes, it's so sad.. very sad. They said that she will be checked immediately, they said she has an infection on her cheek (? mouth,.. and neck under the cheek), but why... they will take clear of the matter. She was eating well, moving like always, I said, and on the other hans she looks good, but the cheek.. oh no, it was.. Even though she was as if alright, they said, she may get blood poisoning b c of the infection.. etc.
She was so lively to the last minutes, she went easily in the cage.
I'll tell more as soon I get to know something. They said that if she can be healed she will returned to her home, on Squirrel hill...
She is all wild, a country Squirrel, I told them, not a 'tame city squirrel'.. they know squirrels better than me, of course. But, yes, Bertha is not 'mine', that is a fact number one.
They, vets there in Zoo, will decide what happens next..

Other news from Squirrel hill:
One more, a special squirrel pup has appeared. A dark red Red squirrel pup! I saw it already about for one week ago, but had no time to look closer my video shots:
Good night!

I hope the best for "your" little girl.

Hi, Alice, good that you was thinking about her age! I got a reason to go back in time, to the summer 2011. I think I noticed her in last summer for the first time. At first I called her just as an 'unknown female', rather small with tempement, shy but curious, looking young'.
So, it has not been just humanizing squirrel individuals by giving them 'human names'. How could I have found 'Bertha' from the earlier picures
Bertha 12th July 2011. On that day I named her as Bertha.
I even found the an old video of her, 2011 12th July 2011:
...After the young male appeared the unnamed, rather small female. Well I could call her Bertha.
Post subject: Re: Spring and Summer 2011 in FinlandPosted: July 10th, 2011, 1:51 pm:
...the 'unknown female' who chased Bud away, and the second one visitor was Star. Star was coming and going back and worth. She looked at while so scary and timid.

So, we will hear about her, at last on the day I'll go and get back the cage from Korkeasaari zoo. The staff there told me, that no visitor are allowed to see any of the wild animals there in the medical center in Korkeasaari. Yes, of course not, so
