Olga, thank you for answer and link.
Progressive retinal atrophy (PRA) is a big problem for dogs and now I understand why their eyes need check.
Nanu and Nappu on your photos are so cute and lovely. :loveshower:

 I found an old video, not very old, but I took it with my handy on the 19th October without thinking of anything.
No human knew that Nappu's season had begun so early..

Squirrel Hill friends, I'll be busy during the next two weeks. I have promised to do some work.. But if I see Squirrels I'll take camera at hands soonest possible.

I have a few pictures for all who love the squirrels. :loveshower:

The American Red Squirrel (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus) from Port Blandford, Newfoundland, Canada.
I added link to webcam in Camera Links (with animated gifs of squirrel and blue jay).

 Thank you, Margossa, for the link and the pictures!

Today I saw one squirrel. It was standing there on the edge of the stone terrace. I was about to go to the post boxes down the old stone stairs. I went back to take camera, but the squirrel had gone! So, I went to the post boxes. While stepping up the stairs back to house, I just opened the camera:

This is how Squirrel hill looks in this gloomy season :D

The fur of the squirrel was pure gray! Just his paws and head were brownish.

The music makes Squirrel Hill mystical, I like it!
The squirrels are around, soon they will find their way to the feeding place
Thank you for the video and update, Olga

Beautiful video. Lussi is right, it's mystical! Thanks for showing us! I tried to get the woodpecker, but when I appeared with my camera, the woodpecker did not show up again.

Thank you Olga for your video of squirrel and wonderful pictures of sunset. :loveshower:
Is it Charley on your video?
When squirrels changed the furs on winter season are always change the fur colour to gray ?

PS. Olga your video when you go up the stairs is mysterious and uncanny.
Thank you very much for sharing us.

 Today again I saw a squirrel on the same place eating sun flower seeds, beside the tree trunk on the stone terrace!

Margossa, I can't be sure if it was Charley. Charley used to have quite long and fluffy ear tassels last winter. This squirrel had long, long dark brown tassels, and big dark eyes. It looked Paula the Silk ear to me! But I can't say for sure.

I have got to know that our village will be joined to the communal water pipe systems, ..how to say?? All houses and families here have a water pipe system of their own.. So, this means that there will be a lot of timber work all around the village  Yes..There can be seen piles of tree trunks along the road to the store. Roads will be moved, widened and so on,.. you know, ditches and holes will be dug..

huh!

OLga,that sounds like bad news to me. Nice to have a new water supply but if you are going to loose your nice calm place, the wildlife will probably go away. :help: Trees down too. Awww... I wouldn't like that at all. :slap:
