They wrote that a nest box & camera at a location in the western plains of Romania has been installed for the first time: live images with the rarest birds of prey in the country.

For two species of the saker falcon (Falco Cherrug) - a threatened species in today's Romania - in an occupied nest on a high voltage pylon. For the first time in Romania, a nest of the saker falcon is monitored by video of the Wildlife Protection Association because the last breeding pairs of the saker falcon in Romania only in the Banat and Dobrogea.

Thank you, Ferenz!

While we are waiting and hoping for Saker falcons appearing in the nest box, we can observe a kestrel using the box as a sleeping place.
