Re: Wild Pig Cam 2010 discussion Camera 1
the first boar is approaching cautiously....
wow what a sky....
BTW: does anyone remember seeing a hare here on pig cam? either an European hare (Lepus europaeus) or a mountain hare (Lepus timidus)?
i guess that L. europaeus should be a rather common animal in Estonia, too, as they are extremely common in Finland. here they live everywhere in great numbers, also in cities, including city centres.

there was a yellow car parked on the road there beside the arena. it just left. i checked my pictures and it had been there for almost an hour. that must have been the voices i heard.
the lights turned on. what a shame: we'll lose the rest of the 'normal' sunset...

I have heard some explosive grumbles -- but always when I am away from the computer.

February 25th. Good morning!
it's a beautiful morning again. first birds are arriving, and i hear a lot mote crows and ravens calling somewhere far. in the first picture there's an unrecognizable jay on the left and two hooded crows on the right.
actually it almost sounds like crows were having a sort of argument out there.
some little birds along with crows.
also a lot of normal "good-morning"-craws of ravens.
some more litle birds, most likely yellowhammers.

[*img]http://i078.radikal.ru/1002/1e/5d01787e05bf.jpg[/img*]
i the above i added stars * but without then it's valid address and voilà: there are your pictures.

there were lots of dinner guests. besides it didn't seem to be so much food to start with. and the bread-stuff apparently flew away before the boar got here.

I don't think so either.
The light is pretty with the shadows. The raven sounds like it is sitting almost on the cam.

food has been delivered. it seems to be giant popcorn alias bread/buns, potapples and grain. -and the bread is flying away as usual.
very loud and happy chirping of little birds in the background. - i think they are sparrows...
