now i've sorted yesterday' picture. here you are:
the pigs came at 18.43. the lights were turned on already so that they were a little later than some evenings.
Image
the ground is wet. :slap: the temperature was +3 at that time and it remained on the positive side up-til about 5 today morning.

at about 19.17 it seemed at first glance that that it was snowing here, too, like in Jaanioja.....
Image
.... but no: that white cloud in these pictures is rising up to the sky, not coming down!
Image
these pictures were taken at 1 second intervals.
Image
the pigs were steaming!! :rotf:

the pigs are back... it took longer than i thought...
Image
now i notice that this picture is almost identical to the one i have up there. :rotf: .. i'll have to check that it is not the same...
no they are different: the first has time stamp 18.11 and this one 18.48. pigs just have such regular habits....
and now they rushed away just like half an hour ago... but returned right away... that different. 8-)

the boars are jumpy tonight, they come...they run away...they return and then off again :puzzled:
now there is someone behind the cam - can hear the steps and heavy breathing, but can`t see :D
and there is Moon in the sky :headroll: just before the timestamp :D

March 23rd: good morning!i had a look hear in the early morning but there was no-one. now there are yellowhammer picking last-night's left-overs. it's cloudy and fortunately not so windy as yesterday.

Kuremari: did you know to expect the Moon or did you catch it by accident? because your captures were really close, just in the corner of the picture. :D i woke up at about the same time and we also had a bright moonlight even thoug the Moon is only 1 week old. i went to see where it was and thought that it might be vivible here too. i'm glad that you caught it! :headroll:

i think they must be acorns. in Kuremari's post here there's a close up picture of them.
viewtopic.php?p=63287#p63287
if i remember right the pigs were given acorns last spring, too. schollkids had been collecting them last year. i guess it might be the same this year. - now that i think about it more, i would give the pigs acorns in the spring instead of grain. they would not be so much smeared on the wet and muddy ground...

food has been delivered today already and it looks like acorns again.

YESSS! you had an absolutely perfect timing there, spotting the Moon. :2thumbsup:
the Moon moves rather fast in the sky even though we don't quite easily realize it. it swept across a very small corner there in our view last night. you could have quite easily missed it. - go and buy a lottery ticket, maybe you'll be lucky there, too. :D

BTW: the morning here looked OK: at 6.50 the sun was almost shining there through thin clouds and there were little birds chirping and picking grain on the ground.
at 5.18 it was still almost dark, but the sky had already some blueish color. at 6.01 it was quite light already.

the snow is piling gradually there on the dryer spots... the weather forecast says that's it's going to be around zero tonight. now it's +2 degrees, says the weather data.
