I was just closing up and thinking what a lovely sound and then I realized Cranes!

This must be a pretty big flock.

Now I am really off :wave:

I can hear here Whooper Swans, not Cranes. And i saw them too yesterday and today. No open water yet but they are here and waiting.

there are three jays on the ground eating and i think one must be sitting on top of the camera and "singing": making hoarse krrahh! krrahhh!!-voices.
