And the birds are singing absolutely beautifully! It is dark and I don't see much but the sound is lovely.

empty ground and it is very quiet, too. a blackbird warning, a crow, some tits, a jay singing.... cloudy. fresh food has been brought but the salt block is out of sight.

AHAAHH!... that's the reason for the quietness: there's someone working with the circular saw again, and it's rather close to the camera. i suppose this will go on the whole day.

now there are banging sounds in the background... i get the impression that this camera is quite near a farm house, almost behind one of the barn buildings there... this farm doesn't have a dog, we would have heard it surely. and i think they don't have a cat either (which is strange for a farm..? :puzzled: ). i think we would have seen the cat here on the ground, hunting birds, if there were one...

the ground is empty but i can hear some tits calling... and jays..

yes, Kuremari, they are wood pigeons! that was a good catch! i've seen one here so far.
despite their name they are rapidly becoming quite urban birds: within just a few years the numbers of nesting couples has almost exploded in Finnish cities.

at 19.23 (7.23 pm) i heard some steps approaching the camera... then i heard a cla-bang! and the picture went black!
the transmission is still on, i think, but the camera and the microphone were turned off.... i wonder what this will mean... ... on the other cams the transmission is turned off first and then we see something like "too many retries, giving up..." or something like that. hopefully the camera will be switched on in a while...
i would so very much like to see little piglets again.... :faint:
