Hooded Crows I saw most on the winter feeding place of the eagles. There one could know it between other crows exactly. But there was the ground covered with snow and I could see better what kind of bird it is. Between all the plants and while having sunshine or darker ground it is for me very difficult. Now I am happy that we have one specialist more to help us - :loveshower:

:puzzled: Who is a striped animal? Probably house dog? To look well it was not possible, because the chamber has stopped work

Venegor, I believe it's the same animal again whose identity we've been discussing for a few days now. I still believe it's a racoon dog, but I think there are theories as well ;)

I think we see raccoon dogs. They do look a bit different during summer, somebody wrote that already.

I had open the cam this night for long time - no animal to see (perhaps they are hiding themselfes in the higher growing plants). Most there were some days or nights without bears and then - a bear appeared again. This will be today or tonight 8-) ? Would be a nice gift for us to watch...
I wish everybody a very nice day (or/and night). We will get very hot today in Germany - next to 37 degree C. :slap:

I think it was Mannike who had written this, and maybe it is also written on his blog site! Maybe you want to look there:

But you are right, he wrote the bears will not come so often or not at all for a while!

 Here I am all by myself looking for bears, birds, foxes or something. Maybe Bit Foot will happen by. I guess everyone else is in bed when I am still up. I have about 4 hours and then I will be  too. I haven't seen a bear in 3 or 4 days now. I read in somebody's post a few minutes ago that they might not come back for several days or awhile. I guess I'll keep watching.
Bye for now if anyone is up.

Kuremari: Thank you for solving my problem with recognizing.
I will watch the cam too, Nola Hays. It is such a nice view when the sun is looking through the trees and one see the plants growing and hearing birds. Sometimes there are many ravens - so there is life although we see no bears for some time.

An article about my brown bear watching in this May and June.

Most of the time in this May and June I spent in Alutaguse. I was in watching hide, drive in Alutaguse endless forest´s roads, heard, watched and looked for birds and mammals.

Often in my way back to Tallinn, my heart wanted to stay in Alutaguse.

Some of the interesting things I saw.

2 -nd of May in brown bear hide. Suddenly we saw female and tree cubs are coming. Cubs were walking carefully close to their mamma.

Two big male bears are called Sven and Trulla. 28 -th of May Sven comes to watching area, roll himself on the ground, mark the territory. After a while he continued his way. About 15 minutes later Trulla came, sniffed same place where Sven was and followed him.

:loveshower: I am so happy that one of my bear-pictures is on the mainside of Looduskalender. It was so great to meet all the bears that came on the last weeks and I am looking forward to see them again in August. Until this time I will have an eye on the growing plants and some of the birds that are crossing or taking a rest for eating etc. Sometime there is also visiting us a fox - mostly that one with the bad tail.
It is a nice place we are allowed to watch - thank you to all who give the opportunity for it.
Regards from a nature-loving Bleggi :hi:
