I just saw a "shadow" walk past from left to right. I had the impression of a fox with a nice furry tail, but the animal moved to rapidly for the cam.

About this striped animal -
I have just read something from a friend in Finland. She has seen a family of raccoon dogs near her place. She said there is a young one and it has stripes.
Olga - where are you - - - ??

The bear is almost invisible except when he lifts his head to sniff the air.

I have just written some words on the Finnish Seasons thread of the raccoon dog, that I think was a pup!
My younger dog Nappu pushed through the fence after it! Two days ago. I am still a bit upset (have been repairing the fence for two days now). It was scaring. The raccoon pup was very striped, narrow sripes, light gray and darker gray stripes, and it didn't have those familiar dark cheek tassel fur at all - maybe there was a bit of them, but they too were light and short. But no the dark 'pictures' on the face, the face was grayish. It had bright small eyes and white sharp teeth, and it could scream with a loud voice.
I am so happy that Nappu (14 kg Lapp dog, a Same dog, 13 monts old) didn't get contact with the poor pup. There is close to our house, 150m far, an empty house, and it is there that the raccoon dogs live, under the house, and under the other small garage houses there. I think they may live there. It happens very seldom that we see them. Their life is dangerous enough.. roads, cars etc..
Some early winter morning, I saw a couple of them walking side by side along the small road down the hill. They looked so lonely, somehow.. I was going for the paper from the post box. I turned around and waited that they would go further..
