will be great
 I would like to do so! (I missed the noise, I went to Käsmu cam for a minute.)

Edit-- I listened to your video & at first thought the noise was another cuckoo calling over the first one, but then I wondered if it might be an owl calling ?

Edit-- I just heard it again on the live stream. I think it is an owl of some kind.

Good maps are few and far between for some reason. Maybe everybody is expected to use Google maps?
Here is a map that at least shows roughly where, in Estonia, Alutaguse is:
estonica.org/en/Nature/Location ...Eesti_pinnareljeef/?large
- up in NE corner; same source, Estonica, as before.

Another, on a more municipal basis: teenus.regio.ee/ ...php?id=242
kaart=map; aerofoto=aerial photo; little yellow arrow in right top corner: click to have full-screen view
( posted in wrong topic first ... )

I have never heard a cuckoo laugh (we do not have them in USA as far as I know). It does sound sort of like a laugh. :D

I haven't heard a real-life cuckoo in this part of UK for so many years.
I enjoy listening to the BS cam in the summer.

But somehow, it may be easy to think that too much of a good thing is not wise!!
There goes that D**$^* cuckoo again :headroll:

Jo, I have also not heard a real cuckoo for some time. I live in the city, no cuckoos here and it's years that I have been to my father's place at "cuckoo time". It's childhood memories.

Edit: with horror I remember the "Bird Song Clock" my ex-mother-in-law had ... among others, a cuckoo, and it started "singing" as soon as it became light, means in the middle of the night. First time we did not know about it and nearly fell out of our beds ... :banghead:
