...and now I'm wondering what it could have been, Seal maybe ?
I remember that last year there was also a Seal..
--when I look back at the pictures, it is down there last night?
on Kitty her picture I see it first ( 4:24 )

At 21:50, the Bear is back into the picture. I can not see whether he is eating, and whether he takes the prey into the forest..

Wow, I am not the only one who got a good movie of a bear! Fleur, how amazing that you were watching when that one came to see about the carcasses. There were two things there & it looks like they were tied to that "dancing branch" so the bears can't pull them away too far. The first thing the bear pulled I am not sure what it was, but the second thing was definitely a dead seal. That bear is very strong, it just lifted that big seal & flopped it over without any trouble at all.
Jan, last summer a dead seal was put here & it took weeks for it to be consumed. We watched & watched from day to day as the seal swelled up bigger & bigger. We were sure it would finally burst & explode all over the clearing! But finally a bear managed to rip it open & everybody had a feast for days. The seals must have extremely tough skin, because it took the bear a lot of work over a couple of days to get it open.
P.S.-- Thank you all for your good wishes to my hubby & me.

@ JanE..
I believe last year they had a dead seal down on the right, there is a hole with a valve on
I try to find the message on the front page but I do not see it
I'm trying to find all kinds of words
Tip:
if you want to find an article, click CTRL + F and type a word. On the right you will see dashes in what sense the word will stand

Are those two bears thinking of matings ? Probably. They are both big ones.

Here is where it all begins with the dead seal last summer. viewtopic.php?p=102531#p102531
On the page following that one, Rein Kuresoo explains about the dead seal & how it came to be there. viewtopic.php?p=102551#p102551
And Fleur was first last year, too, for getting a movie of the bear pulling at the carcass. viewtopic.php?p=102708#p102708
Here is a photo of the seal nearly a week later as it swelled up. viewtopic.php?p=103322#p103322
And here, a video I got of a bear eating the carcass-- bones are crunching! viewtopic.php?p=103410#p103410

I hear something breaking branches in the forest, but I don't see anything, yet.
Edit, 00:34-- Yes, there is a bear eating from one of the carcasses behind the skinny tree at the right side. It is hard to see the bear but I can see its head moving sometimes.
